




The passing has occurred of Aideen O’Malley (Née Morrisroe) from Boherbee, Ballaghaderreen, Roscommon
It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Aideen O’Malley (née Morrisroe), of Boherbee, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon, on February 6th, 2025, at Monaghan General Hospital, at the age of 87. Aideen was predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy and her brothers Patrick and Michael.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her son James, her daughters Kathy, Grace, and Geri, her sister Kay, her cherished grandchildren Richard, Nicholas, Claire, and Edel, and her great-grandchildren. Aideen will also be remembered by her son-in-law John, her brother-in-law Paddy, as well as her nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and neighbours.
May she rest in peace.
Funeral Arrangements
Aideen will repose at Sharkey Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen, on Friday, February 7th, from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm, with removal to St. Nathy’s Cathedral, arriving at 8:00 pm.
Her Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Saturday, February 8th, at 2:00 pm, followed by interment in Kilcolman Cemetery.
