It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ann Fleming (née McDonald) on February 20th, 2025, at St. Brigid’s Hospice, The Curragh. Ann passed away peacefully, surrounded by her devoted family, after a long illness bravely borne with immense courage and dignity.
Devoted Mother
Ann was the beloved wife of the late Mick and a devoted mother to Rachel, Laura, Jack, and Sarah. She was the cherished only daughter of Bernie and is now reunited with her late father, Joe.
Deeply Missed
A woman of grace, kindness, and strength, Ann will be deeply missed by her heartbroken family, including her mother Bernie, her brothers Peter, Robert, and Garrett, her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, her nephews and nieces, as well as her extended family, many dear friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Ann’s warmth, compassion, and unwavering love for her family will forever be remembered.
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing: Ann will repose at her home on Monday, February 24th, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, where family and friends are invited to pay their respects.
Funeral Mass: A Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25th, at 10:00 am in Our Lady and St. David’s Church, Naas.
Cremation Service: Following the Mass, a cremation service will take place at Newlands Cross Crematorium at 2:30 pm, where Ann’s life will be honoured and celebrated.
In Loving Memory
Ann lived a life of love, resilience, and generosity, touching the hearts of many. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend who brought warmth and kindness wherever she went. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
