The passing has occurred of Breda Roche (née Kavanagh) from Bernadette Place, Wexford Town, Wexford on 6th February 2025. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Breda Roche (née Kavanagh), who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Breda was the beloved wife of the late James (Jim) Roche and the adored mother of Shay, Martin, Declan, and her late daughter Gerardette. She was also predeceased by her dear brother Nicholas (Nick) and her parents Daniel and Margaret Kavanagh.
Breda will be deeply missed by her loving sons, her cherished grandchildren Aoife, Colm, and Kenzie, her daughters-in-law Claire and Mary, her sister-in-law Angela, as well as her extended family, friends, and neighbours. Breda’s kind spirit, loving nature, and devotion to her family will leave a lasting imprint on the hearts of all who knew her.
Funeral Arrangements
Breda will repose at Mulligans Funeral Home, The Faythe, Wexford (Y35 DH6V) on Sunday, 9th February, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Her remains will be removed on Monday, 10th February, at 11:30 am, proceeding to the Church of the Assumption, Bride Street, for Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon. Following the Mass, Breda will be laid to rest in St. Ibar’s Cemetery, Crosstown.
