The Passing has occurred of Cormac Wyse from 3 Upper East Hill, Cobh, Co. Cork
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Cormac Wyse, of 3 Upper East Hill, Cobh, Co. Cork, who departed this life peacefully, surrounded by his devoted family and in the compassionate care of the team at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, following an illness bravely borne.
Predeceased by his beloved parents, Joe and Eithne Wyse, his dear brother Kevin, and brother-in-law Dominic, Cormac leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.
He was the beloved husband and best friend of Marita Foster, a devoted father to his much-loved daughter Christine, and a treasured brother to Barry and Siobhán. He was a loving uncle to Orla, Ruth, Conor, Rachael, Olivia, Matthew, Ben, Kevin, Joe, and Fred, all of whom he adored.
Cormac will be profoundly missed by his wife, daughter, brother, and sister, as well as his son-in-law Danny, brothers-in-law Tommy, Nigel, and Colman, and sisters-in-law Rachel, Eileen, Liz, and Deirdre. He will also be lovingly remembered by his uncle Brendan, aunts Breda, Eileen, and Maura, cousins, extended family, neighbours, and his many close friends.
A man of great warmth and spirit, Cormac had a gift for friendship and a deep connection to his community. His presence will be especially missed by his friends at Ryan’s Bar, where laughter and camaraderie were always in abundance. He will be remembered for his generosity, kindness, and unwavering love for those around him

Funeral Arrangements
Reposing: Cormac will repose at his residence, 3 Upper East Hill, Cobh (Eircode P24YA49), on Monday, 24th February 2025, from 3:00 PM, with prayers at 7:00 PM. Family, friends, and all those who wish to pay their respects are welcome.
Funeral Mass: A Requiem Mass in celebration of Cormac’s life will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, 25th February 2025, in St. Colman’s Cathedral, Cobh.
Burial: Following the Mass, Cormac will be laid to rest in St. Colman’s Cemetery, where he will find eternal peace among his loved ones.
