The Passing Has Occurred of Frank (Francis) Lennon, Curramore, Kiltoom, Roscommon

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Frank (Francis) Lennon, who departed this life peacefully on February 19th, 2025, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family. In his 91st year, Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, known for his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family. He spent his final days in the compassionate care of the Roscommon Hospice, for which his family is eternally grateful.

A Life of Love, Dedication, and Community

Frank was a man of great integrity, warmth, and generosity. He dedicated his life to his family, his community, and his faith, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and MaryAnne, his brothers Pat and Thomas Christopher (infancy), his sisters Bridget, Mary, and Theresa (infancy), and his grandson Michael (infancy), he is now reunited with them in eternal peace.

Deeply Missed, Forever Remembered

Frank’s passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of those who loved him. He will be profoundly missed by his devoted wife and best friend, Sheila (née Kelly), his beloved children Brian, Tom, Colm, Johnny, and Ann, his son-in-law Brian, daughters-in-law Eileen, Geraldine, Lisa, and Mary, and his treasured grandchildren Conor, Sarah, Aoibhe, Ria, Jack, Tommy, Katie, Ciara, Aishling, Ronan, and Hannah.

Also mourning his loss are his loving brothers Anthony, Jay, Joe, and John (Bro Ronan), his sister Ann, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, dear neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Frank will repose at St. Brigid's GAA Club, Kiltoom (N37 WK60) on Friday evening, February 21st, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

His funeral procession will leave his home on Saturday afternoon, February 22nd, arriving at the Church of the Risen Christ, Kiltoom (N37 NY36) for Mass of the Resurrection at 2:00 pm, followed by burial in Kiltoom Cemetery.

A Final Tribute

Frank was a pillar of strength, a source of wisdom, and a man who deeply valued family and community. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations, if desired, to the Mayo/Roscommon Hospice here, in appreciation of the exceptional care provided to Frank.
