




The passing has occurred of Joan Jordan (née Monaghan) from Harbour Court, Arklow, Co. Wicklow & Sligo. Formerly of Sligo Town. Peacefully, in the tender care of Wicklow Hospice, with her loving family by her side.
Joan, beloved wife of Patrick, and adored mother of Fidelma, Niall, Kevin, and Louise, is deeply mourned by her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, daughters, sons-in-law Mark and Jason, daughters-in-law Ness and Mary, her cherished grandchildren Shane, Kellie, Isobel, Luke, Emily, Natalie, and Stephanie, as well as her great-grandchildren. Joan is also survived by her siblings Sheila, Ethna, Mary, Regina, Ann, and Catherine, along with her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, and many friends. She was predeceased by her sisters Sadie, Nuala, Bridge, Rosaleen, and her brothers Michael and Martin.

Funeral Arrangements:
Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
A removal will take place on Monday morning at 9:30 am to St. Mary & Peter’s Church, Arklow, where a Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am.

Following the Mass, Joan will be laid to rest in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery.
