The Passing Has Occurred of Joseph (Joe) Tormey from Deerpark, Boyle, Roscommon & Ballinasloe, Galway
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph (Joe) Tormey, Deerpark, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, formerly of Cappagh, Toomard, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, on 16th February 2025, peacefully in Sligo University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Joe was predeceased by his brother Frank and his sister Eithne Keary.
He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his devoted wife Florrie, his daughter Shona, his sons Michael and David, his sister Maura, his cherished grandchildren Emily, Rebecca, Niall, Thomas, Orla, and Sarah, son-in-law Brian McEntee, daughters-in-law Michelle and Éilis, brother-in-law Mike, sister-in-law Carmel, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of extended family, neighbours, and friends.
May Joe’s Gentle Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Mahon’s Funeral Home, Boyle Wednesday, 19th February, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Boyle on Thursday morning, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 am, followed by burial in Assylinn Cemetery. Joe’s Funeral Mass will be live-streamed and can be viewed here
