The passing has occurred of Kathleen Cullen (née Bolger) from South Green, Arklow, Wicklow & Kilkenny
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Kathleen Cullen (née Bolger), of South Green, Arklow, Co. Wicklow, on February 19th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and under the exceptional care of the staff at Wicklow Hospice, Magheramore.
Kathleen was the beloved wife of the late Jimmy and a devoted mother to Adrienne, James (Jim) (Kilkenny), Emma, and the late Michael (Mick). She was predeceased by her parents Thomas and May, and her siblings Nancy, Liam, Mickey, and Paddy.
Kathleen will be deeply missed by her loving children, her grandchildren Yasmine, Saskia, Michael, Adam, and Jimmy, and her great-grandchild Finley. She is also mourned by her brothers Peter, Johnny, Tommy, Albert, and her sisters Alice, Mary, and Bridie, as well as her daughter-in-law Michelle, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of friends and neighbours.
Kathleen’s warm and loving presence will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
Funeral Arrangements
Kathleen will be reposing at Hudson’s Funeral Home (Y14 PT80) on Sunday, February 23rd, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A removal will take place on Monday afternoon, February 24th, at 1:20 p.m., to The Church of Saints Mary & Peter, Arklow (via South Green), arriving for Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m.
Burial will follow at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Arklow.
