The passing has occurred of Marie Goretti (Gretta) O’Driscoll from Courtmacsherry, Cork
It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected but peaceful passing of Marie Goretti (Gretta) O’Driscoll, of Blue Haze House, Courtmacsherry, on the 19th of February, 2025. Gretta, a cherished individual, was the beloved daughter of the late Cornelius and Mary O’Driscoll. She was also the loving sister of the late Eithne Collins and the devoted partner of the late Sean Doyle.
Gretta will be deeply missed by her brothers, Finbarr and Derry, her sister Ita Tobin, as well as her sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and a wide circle of relatives and friends. Her warm and caring nature will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
Gretta’s family kindly invite all those who knew and loved her to join them as they say their final goodbyes.
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing will take place in Holland’s Funeral Home, located at P72 FY88, on Thursday, 20th February, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with prayers beginning at 8:00 pm.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 21st February, at 12:00 pm in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Barryroe, P72 T206, followed by her burial at Lislee Cemetery.
