It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Martin (Fozzy) Fallon, from Carniska, Strokestown, Roscommon (formerly of Elphin Street, Strokestown), on Friday, 17th January 2025.
Martin was the deeply cherished husband of Ann (McNamara) and a devoted father to his beloved children Jack and Amy. His family and friends will forever hold him in their hearts and remember him with love and fondness.
He will be dearly missed by his heartbroken wife, children, and extended family, including his brother Aidan, sisters Marie and Trish (Patti), and his brothers-in-law Sean, Paschal, John, and Mick, as well as his sisters-in-law Helen, Betty, and Gillian. Martin was a proud uncle to his nephews and nieces, including Katelyn, Holly, David, Liam, Zoe, Megan, Sean, Eve, Cathal, Danny, and Laura, who all held a special place in his heart. He was also a loving nephew to Patty and Geraldine, and a dear cousin to many.
A valued friend and colleague, Martin’s passing leaves a deep void in the lives of his neighbours and work associates, as well as his many sporting friends. He was predeceased by his parents Aidan and Margaret (Peggy), who have now been reunited with him.

Please note: On Tuesday morning, the family home will remain private. For those attending the reposing on Monday, a one-way traffic system will be in operation. Please enter via Sharkey's Cross on the Strokestown-Roscommon Road and exit via the Ballybeg-Sliabh Bán road. Stewards will be on hand to direct traffic.
The Fallon and McNamara families wish to express their deepest gratitude for the support and understanding shown by all during this difficult time. Martin will forever be loved and remembered.

Reposing / Funeral Arrangements:
Martin will repose at his residence on Monday, 20th January 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. His funeral will take place on Tuesday, 21st January 2025, with removal from his home at 10:15 AM, to Strokestown Parish Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Strokestown Cemetery.
