🕊️ It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Curley (née Curran), Coolourty, Abbeyknockmoy, Co. Galway, who peacefully departed this life on Friday, February 14th, 2025, surrounded by her loving and heartbroken family.
💔 Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph, her parents Tom and Margaret Curran, her brothers Joe and Padraic, and her brother-in-law Liam Nestor.
💙 She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her devoted children Colette (Fallon), Yvonne, and Declan, her son-in-law Peter, Yvonne’s partner Paul Kerr, daughter-in-law Emer, and her adored grandchildren Ruairí, Eimear, and Conor Fallon, and Caitlin, Aoife, and Joseph Curley. Also mourning her loss are her brother Frank Curran, her sisters Rita Corcoran, Carmel Ryan, and Cora Nestor, her sisters-in-law Lil and Helen, her brothers-in-law Francis and Mattie, as well as her cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, and many dear friends.

📅 Funeral Arrangements
Mary will repose at Mannion’s Funeral Home, Abbeyknockmoy (H54 RW94) on Sunday, February 16th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
On Monday, February 17th, her funeral cortège will proceed from her daughter Colette’s residence, Mountbellew, to St. Bernard’s Church, Abbeyknockmoy (H54 KX60) for Requiem Mass at 12:00 Noon, followed by burial in Abbeyknockmoy Cemetery.

A Life of Love and Kindness
Mary was a woman of warmth, generosity, and unwavering love. She enriched the lives of those around her through her kindness and wisdom. A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, she found joy in family gatherings, cherished conversations, and the love of those closest to her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
May she rest in eternal peace.
