With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Mary Henry Hughes, who departed this life suddenly on February 6th, 2025, while in Goa, India.
Mary was a devoted wife to her beloved husband Michael, a loving and caring mother to Alyson and Jason, and a cherished grandmother to Lewis, who brought immense joy into her life. She was also a dear sister to John, Martin, and Austin.
She will be deeply missed by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Mary’s warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit touched the hearts of many, and her memory will live on in those she loved.
May Her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Clonsilla: Mary will repose at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Clonsilla, on Wednesday, February 12th, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, where family, friends, and all who knew her are welcome to pay their respects.
Funeral Service at St. Mochta’s Church, Porterstown: A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 13th, at 10:00 am, in St. Mochta’s Church, Porterstown. Following the service, Mary will be laid to rest in Castleknock Churchyard.
