Maureen Brassil (née Doran) of Ballinasloe, Galway, and formerly of Taughmaconnell, Roscommon, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024, at Deewater Grange Care Home, Chester, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her dear husband Patrick, as well as her brothers Jerome, Patrick, and Michael, and sisters Eileen and Betty.
She is deeply mourned by her children, Pat, Mary, and Patricia, along with her cherished grandchildren Catherine, Siena, Jamie, David, and Josh. Maureen will also be fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law Anne, sons-in-law David and Jeff, her sisters Bridie and Peggy, brothers Frank and Jimmy, as well as her sisters-in-law, extended family, and friends.
The family kindly requests no flowers, but donations, if desired, may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland. They also express heartfelt thanks for all the support and prayers received during this challenging time. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing / Funeral Arrangements
Reposing: Friday 10/1/25 5pm to 7pm Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe H53 HK15
Funeral mass: Saturday 11/1/25 12pm at St. Michael’s Church, Ballinasloe followed by interment in Taughmaconnell cemetery.
