The passing has occurred of Michael Brady from Kill, County Kildare formerly of Killua, Clonmellon, Counties Westmeath and Meath on Sunday, 6th April 2025

With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Michael Brady, late of Kill, County Kildare, and formerly of Killua, Clonmellon, County Westmeath. Michael passed away peacefully at Naas General Hospital, following a short illness, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, 6th April 2025.

A Life of Love and Dedication

Michael will be remembered as a devoted father, a loving son, a supportive brother, and a loyal friend. His warm personality, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was predeceased by his beloved baby daughter Caoimhe, and by his father John. His loss leaves a profound void in the lives of his children Darragh, Oísin, and Naoise, whom he adored beyond measure. He will also be deeply missed by his heartbroken mother Betty, sisters Helen, Margaret, and Rosie, and brothers Pat, Noel, Declan, and Colm.

Cherished by Family

Michael’s memory lives on in the hearts of his wider family: his brother-in-law Pat, sisters-in-law Liz, Lorraine, Emma, and Anne, his nieces and nephews who held him in such high regard, and the mother of his children, Lisa, with whom he shared years of family love and partnership.

Funeral Arrangements

Michael will repose at Mullen’s Funeral Home, Athboy (C15 KW58) on Wednesday, 9th April from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, where friends, family, and members of the community are welcome to pay their respects.

Removal will take place on Thursday morning, departing from Mullen’s Funeral Home to arrive for Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in Sts. Peter and Paul’s Church, Clonmellon, followed by burial in the local cemetery.

Donations and Gratitude

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations, if desired, to the Friends of Naas General Hospital, whose dedication and compassion brought great comfort during Michael’s final days.

The Brady family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Naas General Hospital for the exceptional care, dignity, and warmth shown to Michael and to them throughout his illness.

Remembering Michael

Michael touched many lives through his kind heart, strength of character, and deep sense of family. His laughter, loyalty, and love will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him. Whether through a shared cup of tea, a gentle word, or quiet support, Michael’s presence made a difference that will not be forgotten.

A Final Blessing

As we bid farewell to Michael, we pray that he is now reunited with his daughter Caoimhe and father John in eternal peace. May his soul find rest, and may his memory live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
