The Passing has Occurred of Nora Caulfield (née O’Keeffe) from Lecarrow, Roscommon & Millstreet, Cork
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Nora Caulfield (née O’Keeffe), of Lecarrow, Co. Roscommon, and formerly of Cullen, Millstreet, Co. Cork, on February 19th, 2025. Nora passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff at the Sacred Heart Home, Roscommon.
Nora was the much-loved wife of John and the adored mother of John (Enniskeane) and Daniel (U.S.A.). She will be greatly missed by her family, including her brothers Batt, Donie, and Jeff, her daughters-in-law Gráinne and Jackie, and her cherished grandchildren Aideen, Sinéad, and Ellie. She will also be fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and friends. Nora was predeceased by her brothers Liam, Tadhg, and Paudie.
Funeral Arrangements
Nora will repose at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Thursday evening, February 20th, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
Her removal will take place on Friday morning, February 21st, at 10:30 AM, arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Knockcroghery, for the Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 AM. Following the Mass, Nora will be laid to rest in Gailey Cemetery.
Heartfelt Gratitude
The Caulfield family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Sacred Heart Home for the exceptional care provided to Nora. They also wish to thank their friends and neighbours for their kindness and support during this difficult time.
