The Passing Has Occurred of Noreen O’Riordan (née O’Sullivan) from Liscahane, Ardfert, Co. Kerry & Currow, Co. Kerry
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Noreen O’Riordan (née O’Sullivan) of Liscahane, Ardfert, and formerly of Beenativane, Currow, Co. Kerry. Noreen passed away peacefully on 13th February 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of the late P.J. O’Riordan, a cherished mother to Deirdre, Áine, and Pádraig, and a beloved sister to Paddy, John, Jim, Mary, and Dan. She is now reunited in eternal rest with her late siblings, Catherine, Jerome, and Michael.
Noreen was a woman of warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. She was a pillar of strength and wisdom, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a kind word. Her gentle presence and caring nature left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She will be deeply missed by her children, her adored grandchildren David, Laura, Sophie, Kieran, and Donnacha, her precious great-granddaughter Ayla, and her much-loved granddaughter-in-law Zara. She is also fondly remembered by her son-in-law Brian, her extended family, nieces, nephews, her wonderful neighbours in Liscahane and Tubrid, and her wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements
Noreen will repose at The Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee, on Friday, 14th February, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. All those who knew and loved her are warmly invited to pay their respects.
Her Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday, 15th February, at 12:00 noon in St. Brendan’s Church, Ardfert. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed at: https://churchmedia.tv/st-brendans-church-1
Following the Mass, Noreen will be laid to rest in The Cathedral Cemetery, Ardfert, where she will be reunited with her beloved P.J.
In lieu of flowers, donations, if desired, can be made to The Rosemary Centre, Balloonagh, Tralee, supporting individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.
