The Passing has occurred of Paddy Joe (P.J.) Freehily from Highlake, Four-Mile-House, Roscommon
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paddy Joe (P.J.) Freehily, who peacefully departed this life in the devoted care of the staff at the Roscommon Hospice on February 11th, 2025.
P.J. will be deeply missed by his brother Martin, his cousins, extended family, and a wide circle of neighbours and friends who held him in the highest regard. His kind nature, generosity, and companionship will forever be remembered by all who knew him.
Funeral Arrangements
P.J.’s family invite you to join them in celebrating his life. His remains will repose at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Friday evening, 13th February, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, after which they will be removed to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballinaheglish.
A Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Saturday, 15th February, at 11:30 AM, followed by burial in Oran Cemetery.
