Susan Collins (née Farrelly)

Susan Collins (née Farrelly), formerly of Kilmurray, Castlerea, and Laragh, Co. Cavan, and more recently of Cloontrask, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6th, 2025, at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe, surrounded by her loving family.
Susan was the dearly beloved wife of James and devoted mother to Michael (Athlone), Margaret (Castlerea), and Susan (Dublin). She will be profoundly missed by her brothers John and Patrick, her cherished grandchildren Eoin, Áine, and James, and her daughter-in-law Fiona and son-in-law Matthew. She is also mourned by her sister-in-law Kathleen, brothers-in-law John, Joe, and Paddy, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbors, and friends.
May she rest in peace. The house will be private, and family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, may be made to The Alzheimer's Society of Ireland.
Reposing / Funeral Arrangements
Reposing: Wednesday 8/1/25 5pm to 7pm at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, Castlerea
Funeral mass: Thursday 9/1//25 at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea which will be followed by burial in St. Joseph’s cemetery
