It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvester (Syl) Regan, who passed away peacefully after a short illness in the care of the staff at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents John and Anne, his brother J.J., and his infant niece Gráinne, Syl will be forever missed by his loving family: Jerry, Francis, Marian, and Anne, his brother-in-law Brian, sisters-in-law Annette and Linda, his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, as well as his many wonderful friends and neighbours.
May Syl’s gentle soul Rest in Eternal Peace.
Reposing / Funeral Arrangements:
Tuesday, January 14, 2025: Syl will repose at the home of his brother Francis. The house will remain private, except for family, friends, and neighbours.
Removal on Tuesday to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Ballyleague, arriving at 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, January 15, 2025: Mass of the Resurrection will take place at 12:00 noon, followed by burial in Cloontuskert Cemetery.
