The Passing Has Occurred of Teresa Browne (née Moran). With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Teresa Browne (née Moran), Castle Street, Roscommon Town.
Teresa passed away peacefully on February 8th, 2025, in the dedicated and compassionate care of the staff at The Roscommon Hospice.
Forever Loved & Remembered
Teresa will be deeply missed by her devoted husband Richard, her beloved sons Neil, Richie, and Daragh, her cherished daughter Carol, her brother John (Westport), and sisters Mary Moody (Yorkshire) and Catherine Gannon (Roscommon). She is also mourned by her daughters-in-law Tara, Natalie, and Denise, her adoring grandchildren Susie, Charlie, Tom, Millie, Heidi, and Bonnie, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and many friends.
Teresa is now reunited in peace with her parents Michael and Kathleen and her brothers Mick (Roscommon) and Tommy (Toronto).
Funeral Arrangements
Teresa will repose at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27), on Sunday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon.
Her Funeral Mass will take place on Monday at 11:00 AM, followed by burial in St. Coman’s Cemetery.
House strictly private, please. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to The Roscommon Hospice. The Funeral Mass will be broadcast live here on Monday at 11:00 AM
The Browne family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all those who provided care and support to Teresa throughout her illness, especially the doctors, nurses, and staff at The Roscommon Hospice.
